Group Activities

As an added benefit of membership and as a way to engage members with common interests, Current has established several interest groups. If you are a Current member and would like to join one of the listed interest groups, click the appropriate image and you will be added to the distribution for that group. You must be a member of Current  to join any of the listed interest groups!

Each group is led by a group leader who is responsible for organizing events and activities specific to their interest group. By joining any of the interest groups, you will be notified about upcoming events and activities pertinent to that group. Organized outings will also be advertised in our newsletter and on our home page.

Members may join as many groups as they like. Similar to our main events, you pick and choose your level of involvement. Participate in as many or as few events as you like. Interest groups are currently being created. Check back soon for a listing of all groups!

	Arts & Entertainment Focus on the arts community and entertainment options including live music, performing arts and other cultural opportunities.
	Business & Industry Tours Tours of local businesses and organizations providing a behind-the-scenes and in-depth look at what makes Greater Green Bay tick.
	Café Current Showcase of coffee shops providing members an opportunity to gather for an early morning cup of Joe or late night caffeine buzz.
	Dining & Nightlife Highlight of local nightlife haunts or a simple gathering at a nearby restaurant; breakfast, lunch or dinner.
	Make a Difference Coordinated efforts for members to make a difference by volunteering their time with local organizations and efforts.
	Read to Lead Book discussion group facilitated by a community leader; it’s not required to read the book, just that you have an interest in the topic.
	Sports & Recreation From sporting events to recreation leagues to activities such as biking, running or kayaking; this group will keep you moving.
	Sustainability Sustainability is more than sound environmental practices and this group will showcase encompassing activities that prove just that.
