Careerology
Careerology
Careerology is a series of job shadow industry tours designed for high school students to provide an in-depth look at a variety of careers in an actual workplace setting. Students will learn about working conditions, education requirements, employability skills and other relevant items for a variety of careers. Facility tours will be provided whenever possible.
Program Guidelines
- Additional sites will be added throughout the year. Visit www.titletown.org/careerology for the most up to date listing of upcoming sites and other program information.
- Students are registered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- An email will be sent to confirm your placement in the session or waiting list. If a confirmation is not received, DO NOT assume your form has been received.
- A signed pre-excused absence form must be returned to your attendance office for each session.
- Students are limited to 2 (two) sessions per school year.
- Registered students who do not show for a session will automatically be removed from future sessions.
- Students must be enrolled in grades 10-12 with one of Partners in Education’s 10 partner school districts.
- Transportation to and from the site is the sole responsibility of the student.
- Students will be required to sign-in at each session.
Cancellation and No-show Policy
Registered students who do not attend a session will not be allowed to attend future sessions unless an extenuating circumstance is confirmed in writing (e.g., illness). Cancellations received less than 48 hours in advance will also remove students from future sessions unless an extenuating circumstance is confirmed. If you must cancel however, please call (920) 593-3408 or email bjohnson@titletown.org.
