Educators in the Workplace
Educators in the Workplace is a Partners in Education initiative that connects 6th to 12th grade educators and counselors with a unique work experience opportunity with a local employer. Often referred to as educator externships, participants are placed with a local employer and given the opportunity to earn hands-on experience working in a variety of disciplines within the organization. The experience offers participants the ability to learn about education and work-related requirements within their selected industry and enables them to better prepare their students. Educators in the Workplace also offers the opportunity to earn graduate or undergraduate credits tuition-free or a stipend for a non-credit option.
Three-credit undergraduate and graduate options are available through the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. A non-credit option is also available for those that wish to earn a stipend. For those applying for credit, 100 percent of the cost of tuition will be covered by Partners in Education if you are a 6th - 12th grade educator or counselor employed by a member school district.

Cake & Careers
Partners in Education provides a variety of career exploration programs for students and educators. Cake & Careers is a series of exploration opportunities where educators visit and tour area businesses giving them the opportunity to learn about "behind the scenes" job opportunities. This series is designed to assist educators in helping students explore the many obvious and some not-so-obvious career possibilities within the fields of: arts & communications, health, business & marketing, agriculture & natural resources, human services, science & technology and more. And as the title implies, “Cake” or other refreshments will be served!
