Diversity committee

Chamber diversity committee
The diversity committee of the Chamber of Commerce was formed several years ago.
We serve businesses owned by ethnic or racial minorities, women, veterans and disabled persons. We also serve companies seeking to improve their recruitment, retention and development of talented minority employees. We have four strategic goals that guide our activities:
Professional Development, Advocacy and Networking
We will provide resources to businesses which will improve their economic success and strengthen their role in the economy.
Community Affairs Recruitment
We will facilitate more active participation in the affairs of the community for business owners and employees.
Supplier Diversity Improvement
We will provide support to those seeking opportunities to work with state-certified businesses. We will target businesses, government agencies and non-profits. We will also help increase the number of businesses that are capable of attaining certification.
Diversity Employment and Marketing
We will provide support to businesses in recruiting, retaining and developing talent. We will support branding initiatives which establish the Green Bay Area as a welcoming community. We will also communicate emerging community issues to the Chamber Board.
