Silent auction
Our special awards display was complemented by a silent auction with proceeds benefiting various Chamber programs.
Our esteemed speaker: Bill Weir, "Nightline"
From gritty war zones to glitzy red carpets, from natural disasters to man-made wonders, “Nightline's” Bill Weir has circled the globe in search of the great stories of our time. Each night he speaks to five million viewers, but the 2011 Chamber annual dinner is your chance to hear first-hand how this Wisconsin native went from covering the Lambeau locker room to wandering the corridors of power. What's it really like to dodge Taliban bullets or explore a Japanese ghost town after a tsunami? Which is more challenging; interviewing a President, an Oscar winner or cold-blooded killer? Weir will share the stories behind the stories and lessons gathered from some unique people. He'll also share insight into the inner workings of the modern media and how the art of storytelling can raise the profile of any business.
